Credits

May 31st 1:14 am — Bjorn

Hi Everyone,

Thanks to Mike for keeping the blog up to date, it keeps slipping my mind. Anyway, soon we’re going to have a credit section up. This is to make sure that everyone involved with the film gets a credit on the film and their name is spelled correctly and everything like that. If there is something wrong with the spelling or anything else, please let us know. You guys busted your backsides for us and we want to make sure you get the proper kudos. If there’s any questions shoot me an e-mail at warriorsend@hotmail.com.

Thanks!

Update: The credits page is now up.

Online Store

Warrior's End Store

It seems like we’re on spree of movie activity lately after a long period of quiet while wrapping up the editing. The latest thing to come to fruition is our online store for people to grab some Warrior’s End loot. It mostly came about because a handful of us wanted something more than a line in the credits to represent all the time and effort that went into the film. We’ve got a bunch of shirts, some hoodies, and some other items for around the house. Seriously, who wouldn’t want to be rocking a Kilean BBQ apron and drinking a cold one from a Warrior’s End stein while grilling this summer?

Wandering Hands Performance

May 25th 9:29 am — Gabe

I just got word today that the band we’re working with on the score of the film will be performing at the Northwest Folklife Festival on Saturday, May 27th at the Seattle Center. Wandering Hands will be on the BackPorch Stage from 3:40-4:10.

Wandering Hands is a collection of classically trained musicians and recovering early-music geeks who mix and match material and musical styles from different traditions in ways nature never intended. (Think Irish sean nos music performed as flamenco and Breton dance tunes performed on traditional Swedish instruments with big Church bells…). To listen to some of their music or buy a CD, visit their site at CD Baby.

I’ve listened to their CD while working on things with Bjorn and Jody, it’s definitely good stuff. Jody even pulled some of their music for the latest trailer. If you are looking for something to do this Saturday, head on over to the Seattle Center and support our band as well as all the other artists at the festival.

New Trailer

May 19th 7:10 pm — Gabe

I know, I know, it’s been forever since we promised the extended trailer, but it’s here now. Head on over to the film trailers page to check it out. There are a couple versions of the new one, one that will be a little nicer on the download, one that is pretty good quality. A lot of the options we tried for exporting the trailer ended up as 300MB files, so we stuck with some smaller versions for the audience to enjoy. If all you get is sound or a “broken” Quicktime symbol, you will need to update the version of Quicktime on your machine. Hopefully we haven’t given too much of the film away, let us know what you think!

Update: For those of you that are having troubles viewing the trailer, it’s also available over at YouTube, but it’s not in the original aspect ratio.
